Plinko demo
Plinko is Spribe's provably fair ball-drop game: a ball bounces down a pyramid of pins and lands in a slot with a multiplier. You choose the number of rows and a risk colour, which set how spread out the payouts are. The RTP stays the same whatever you choose.

How Plinko works
Plinko is based on the peg-board game from TV game shows. In Spribe’s version, a pyramid of pins sits above a row of slots. Each slot shows a multiplier.
- Choose your stake, the number of rows and a risk colour.
- Drop a ball. At every row it hits a pin and goes left or right, each with a 50% chance.
- The ball lands in a slot at the bottom, and you win your stake times that slot’s multiplier.
Because every bounce is a 50/50, most balls end up near the middle, just like a bell curve. The edge slots are reached only when a ball bounces the same way almost every time, which is rare, so they pay the most.
Rows and risk
- More rows spread the outcomes wider and make the edges rarer and bigger.
- Green keeps middle multipliers close to 1x and the edges modest.
- Yellow sits in between.
- Red pays well under 1x in the middle, and very large multipliers at the edges.
All combinations are priced to the same RTP, 97%. The top multiplier is 555x. Choosing red doesn’t make Plinko better or worse value; it makes results more extreme.
The odds in plain words
With 12 rows, there are 4,096 possible paths. Only one path reaches the far left slot, so the chance is 1 in 4,096. The middle slot can be reached by 924 different paths, about 23% of drops. That is why the middle pays least. The same maths applies at every row count: a few paths to the edges, many to the centre.
How to verify a Plinko drop
Plinko uses Spribe’s provably fair system:
- Before you drop, the game shows the hash of the server seed, fixing the outcome in advance.
- Your client seed (changeable in settings) and a nonce (the drop number) are added.
- Together they produce a string of left/right decisions, one per row.
- After the drop, open the round in your history, see the server seed, hash it with SHA-256 and check it matches the earlier hash. Then recompute the path.
Our provably fair verifier can run the check for you.
Honest tips
- Pick the risk you enjoy, not the one you think “wins”. All have the same RTP.
- Fast auto-drops burn money quickly. Plinko can drop many balls a second. Set a limit.
- Middle slots on red lose most of your stake. Expect many small losses between edge hits.
- Patterns don’t exist. Each bounce is independent.

Frequently asked questions
How does Plinko work?
You drop a ball from the top of a pyramid of pins. At each row it bounces left or right at random, and it lands in one of the slots at the bottom. Each slot has a multiplier; the edges pay the most and the middle the least.
What do the colours mean in Spribe Plinko?
Green, yellow and red are risk levels. Green has flatter multipliers with fewer losing slots, red has very small middle multipliers and very large edge ones. Each colour has the same RTP.
Is Plinko a scam?
Spribe's Plinko is provably fair, so each ball's path can be checked after the drop. The game isn't a scam, but like any casino game it has a house edge.
Can I play Plinko for free?
Yes, the demo on this page runs Spribe's fun-mode version in Rands, with no sign-up.
