The 500% welcome package

The package is split across your first four deposits on a falling scale: 200% on the first, 150% on the second, 100% on the third and 50% on the fourth, which adds up to the 500% headline. The minimum deposit at 1Win is R200.

How the bonus is paid is different from most South African casinos, and it’s worth understanding before you deposit.

• Casino version. Bonus funds go to a separate bonus balance. Each day, a percentage of the previous day’s real-money slot losses is moved from the bonus balance to your main balance. In other words, the bonus is released as you play with your own money, rather than being wagered down.
• Sports version. Bonus funds are released when you win single bets at odds of 3.0 or higher, as a share of the winnings.

What that means in Rands

Because the casino bonus is released as a share of your losses, think of it as a form of loss rebate spread over time. If you deposit R1,000 and the first-deposit bonus is R2,000, you don’t get R2,000 to play with at once; you get your R1,000, and on days you lose on slots, part of the R2,000 moves into your cash balance. A player who wins on the first day gets little or nothing from the bonus that day; a player who loses gets some back. It cushions losing days. It doesn’t make slots profitable.

Weekly casino cashback

1Win pays back between 1% and 30% of your net weekly slot losses. The rate depends on how much you bet in total that week: low-volume players get the bottom of the range, and only very heavy play reaches 30%. Cashback is credited to the main balance at the end of the week.

Express bonus for accumulators

Win an accumulator with five or more selections and 1Win adds a percentage to your net profit: 7% for five legs, rising to 15% for 11 or more. On a winning R100 five-leg acca at total odds of 10.00, the R900 profit becomes R963. It applies only if every leg wins.

1win Coins and poker rakeback

Every real-money bet in the casino or sportsbook earns 1win Coins, which you can exchange for bonus money in your account. Poker players also get weekly rakeback on cash games, from 15% up to 50% by VIP level, paid every Monday.

How to claim the 1Win welcome bonus

1. Open 1Win from the offer card on this page.
2. Register with your email or phone number and choose ZAR as your currency. The currency can’t be changed later.
3. Pick the casino or sports bonus when prompted, depending on what you’ll play.
4. Deposit at least the minimum with the bonus tick-box switched on. Card, instant EFT and crypto are all accepted.

Terms to check before you deposit

• Separate balance. Bonus funds sit apart from your cash; you can’t bet them directly in the casino version.

• Single bets at 3.0+. The sports bonus is released only from winning singles at those odds.
• Time limits. Unreleased bonus funds expire; the SA window is still being confirmed.
• Offshore licence. Disputes go to 1Win and its Curaçao licensor, not a South African board.
