Who we are

CasinoSlots.co.za is a South African guide to casino and betting bonuses. This policy explains what personal information we process when you use the site and what your rights are under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Our contact details for privacy requests are coming soon and will be published on our contact page.

What we collect

• Analytics. On the live site we use Google Tag Manager to load analytics, which measure how pages are used (pages viewed, device type, approximate location). These tools may set cookies. We use the results to improve the site, not to identify you.
• Player reviews. If you submit a review, we store your rating, title and text, the display name and optional city you enter, and the date. To stop spam, we also store a one-way scrambled code derived from your IP address; it cannot be turned back into the address and is deleted after 30 days. Reviews are checked before they appear, and approved reviews show your display name and city publicly.
• Compare tool. Brands you pick to compare are kept in your browser’s session storage and disappear when you close the tab.
• Calculators. Everything you type into our tools stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to us.

Partner links

Some links take you to casino and betting sites, sometimes through a /go/ redirect so the operator knows the visit came from us. Once you are on an operator’s site, its own privacy policy and terms apply. We don’t receive your registration or payment details.

Bonus bell

The bell at the top of the page lists the current top bonuses. To show how many are new to you, your browser keeps a short list of the offers you have already seen in its local storage. That list never leaves your device, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. To remove a review you submitted, contact us once our contact details are published.

Security and changes

We keep the information we hold to a minimum and protect it with access controls. We may update this policy as the site changes; the date at the top shows the last update. See also our terms of use and disclosure.
