How we make money

CasinoSlots.co.za is free to use because some casinos and betting sites pay us a commission when a reader signs up through our links. That commission never changes our ratings, scores or the terms we show: every brand is scored with the same published method, whether it pays us or not.

Our business model

Running an independent guide costs money: research, writing, data checks and hosting. We don’t charge readers and we don’t sell your data. Instead, we have affiliate agreements with some of the casinos and betting sites we cover. When you click a “Claim” or “Visit” button and then open an account with that operator, it may pay us a commission. Depending on the agreement, that is a one-off fee per new player or a share of the operator’s revenue from that player.

You never pay more because you came through us, and you get the same offer as everyone else.

What commission doesn’t change

  • Ratings and scores. Every brand is scored with the same six-part method described in how we rate. Payment to us isn’t one of the inputs.
  • Bonus terms. We show the real wagering, caps and expiry from the operator’s terms, including the unattractive ones, and the cost of the wagering in Rands. See our bonus policy.
  • Labels. Offshore-licensed brands are labelled as offshore, whatever our relationship with them.
  • Inclusion. We list and review brands we have no agreement with. Their buttons say when a link isn’t a partner link.

1Win is our featured casino and appears in a highlighted card across the site. That is a commercial placement, and we label it as featured. It doesn’t change 1Win’s scores or the terms we display, and where a 1Win term such as its wagering hasn’t been confirmed, we say so rather than fill the gap.

Partner links use a /go/<brand>/ address on our site and are marked as sponsored for search engines. You can always reach any operator directly instead. How we handle data from those clicks is set out in our privacy policy, and the rules for using the site are in our terms of use.

Gambling responsibly

We earn money when people sign up, so we want to be clear: we never want you to gamble more than you can afford. Read our responsible gambling page and use deposit limits. If gambling stops being fun, call the NRGP free on 0800 006 008.

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost me more to sign up through your links?

No. You get the same offer as anyone else, and you never pay us anything. The operator pays any commission out of its own marketing budget.

Do you rank casinos that pay you higher?

No. Scores follow our published method (bonus 25%, payouts 20%, games 15%, mobile 15%, trust 15%, support 10%). We also review and list brands that don't pay us anything.

Why do some buttons say the link isn't a partner link?

When we have no partner agreement with a brand, the button sends you to its site directly and says so. The listing and its score are exactly the same either way.
