How we check bonuses
Every bonus on CasinoSlots.co.za is recorded from the operator's published terms, with its source and the date we checked it. We list the wagering, minimum deposit, maximum bet and cashout, expiry and any code, show the cost of the wagering in Rands, and mark offers as unconfirmed or expired rather than guessing.

Where our bonus information comes from
We record every offer from the operator’s own bonus page and terms and conditions where we can reach them, and otherwise from reputable sources that quote those terms. Each record stores the URL it came from and the date it was checked. When sources disagree, we leave the field empty until it is confirmed.
What we record for each offer
- Type (welcome, no deposit, free spins, free bet, cashback, reload) and vertical (casino or betting).
- Amount in Rands, match percentage and number of deposits it covers.
- Free spins: number, value per spin and the slot they apply to.
- Wagering multiple, and whether it applies to the bonus only or to bonus plus deposit.
- Minimum deposit, maximum bet while wagering, maximum cashout and expiry.
- Minimum odds for free bets, and any payment methods excluded from the offer.
- The code, if the operator publishes one, and the claim steps.
From these we calculate the wagering cost in Rands, using the method behind our wagering calculator, and colour-code the wagering: up to 10x easy, 11x to 35x average, above 35x hard.
How offers are dated and labelled
Every bonus card shows when it was last checked. An offer is live when its terms are confirmed, unconfirmed when a key term is still being checked, and expired when the operator has withdrawn it. Expired offers are taken off the money blocks but kept in our records.
What we won’t do
- Invent or round up terms that aren’t published.
- List another affiliate’s bonus code.
- Change the order of our picks because of a bonus’s commission.
- Present a bonus as a way to make money. Wagering costs money on average, and we show how much.
The operator’s terms always take priority over our summary. If you spot a difference, tell us via our contact page. More about who checks the offers is on our about page. For the wider scoring method, see how we rate, and browse current offers on our bonuses page. If chasing bonuses stops being fun, the NRGP helpline is free on 0800 006 008.
Frequently asked questions
How often are bonuses checked?
Each offer shows the date its terms were last checked. We recheck offers regularly and whenever an operator changes its promotion, and we update the record once so every page shows the new terms.
What does 'not published' mean on a bonus?
It means the operator hasn't published that term (for example the wagering or the maximum cashout) in a source we could check. We leave it blank rather than guess.
Do you use other sites' bonus codes?
No. We only list a brand's own public codes. Codes from other affiliates credit their site, not the player, and may carry different terms.
What should I do if a bonus is different on the casino's site?
Always follow the operator's own terms, which take priority over our summary. Please let us know so we can correct the listing.
