The sign-up bundle

1. Sign up and opt in to offers.
2. Deposit at least R50.
3. Within seven days, place an R50 cash bet on a multibet with five or more legs at total odds of 3 or more.
4. Once it’s placed, you receive:

Worked example. The qualifying R50 five-leg multi carries the margin of five markets, perhaps 25% in total, so it costs around R12 in expected value. In return you get the R10 extra bet (worth about R4 to R5 on average at moderate odds), 10 spins at R1 (about R9.60 back on average) and 10 flights at R1 (about R9.70). Total: roughly R24 in expected value against R12 in margin. A modest net gain, if you’d place a five-leg multi anyway. If not, the bundle isn’t worth changing how you bet.

The cap on winnings is R100,000.

Daily spins and Free Bet Club

• Daily spins. Opt in, then bet R50 or more in cash on multis with three or more legs at odds of 2.00+ per leg, and Betway gives 5 bonus spins that day.
• Free Bet Club. Settle R250 or more in multibets during the period (three or more legs at 1.15+ each, total slip odds 1.50+) and receive two R25 bet tokens, R50 in total.

Worked example: Free Bet Club. R250 in short-priced multis costs roughly R20 to R30 in margin. The R50 in tokens returns about R20 to R25 in profit on average. It roughly pays back the margin, which is good value for regular multi bettors and pointless for anyone else.

Is the Betway bundle worth it?

For a multibet regular, yes, in a small way: the extra bet, spins and flights roughly double back the margin on the qualifying slip, and the spins and flights carry no wagering. For anyone else, no. A five-leg slip at total odds of 3.00 is a bet most casual punters wouldn’t otherwise place, and changing how you bet to collect R30 of bonuses costs more than it gives. Betway’s strengths are its markets, its app and its large crash-games lobby rather than its sign-up offer, so judge it on those.
