Aviator bonuses and free flights
Aviator free flights are free rounds on Spribe's crash game Aviator, given by South African bookmakers as part of sign-up or weekly bet-and-get offers. Betway gives 10 flights with its sign-up bundle and BetXchange up to 20 flights a week for EPL bets. Flights usually need you to cash out at 1.5x or higher to count.

How Aviator bonuses work
Aviator is a crash game by Spribe and one of the most played casino games in South Africa. A plane takes off, a multiplier climbs, and you cash out before it flies away. Bookmakers have turned that popularity into free flights: free rounds at a fixed stake.
In our data, two offers are built around Aviator flights:
- Betway: 10 free flights as part of the sign-up bundle (with an R10 extra bet and 10 free spins), and no wagering on what they win.
- BetXchange EPL Bet & Get: bet on the English Premier League and choose an R20 free bet, 20 Aviator flights or 100 spins each week.
Several other offers can be used on Aviator or similar crash games without being Aviator-specific. Wanejobets’ Daily Boost counts on Aviator, Pantherbet’s second-deposit bonus includes Aviator spins, and Betshezi’s casino bonus works on its own crash game, Shezi AVI.
What a free flight is worth
Aviator’s published return to player is about 97%, so on average each R1 staked returns 97c. The value of a flight is close to its stake, minus a little, unless a minimum cash-out rule changes the maths.
Worked example: Betway’s 10 flights
Assume each flight is worth R1, and you must cash out at 1.5x or higher.
- Play value: 10 × R1 = R10.
- Cashing out at exactly 1.5x: wins about 65% of the time and pays R1.50, so roughly R0.97 per flight on average.
- Expected winnings: about R9.70 across the 10 flights.
- Wagering: none, so what you win is cash.
Aiming higher, say 3x, wins less often (about a third of the time) but pays more. Over many rounds the average is the same; only the swings change. With just 10 flights, a low cash-out target gives you a steadier, small result.
Worked example: the qualifying bet
Betway’s bundle needs an R50 deposit and an R50 bet on a 5+ leg multi at total odds of 3.00. That bet carries the bookmaker’s margin, about R3 to R5 in expected cost. So the bundle is worth roughly R10 in flights plus R10 in spins and an R10 extra bet, against a few Rand of margin. A modest reward for a bet you’d place anyway.
How to claim Aviator free flights
- Open the offer from the table above.
- Register and opt in to promotions (Betway asks you to opt in to offers at sign-up).
- Complete the qualifying action: deposit and bet as the offer requires, within the deadline (seven days at Betway).
- Open Aviator from the casino or “Aviator” tab. The free flights appear as a bet option or banner.
- Play each flight and cash out at or above the minimum multiplier.
- Use them before they expire, usually within seven days.
Terms that trip people up
- Minimum cash-out. A flight cashed out below 1.5x at Betway may pay nothing.
- Fixed stake. You can’t raise the stake on a free flight.
- Auto cash-out. Setting auto cash-out at the minimum multiplier is the easiest way to meet the rule.
- The qualifying bet is real money. You pay the margin on it even if the flights are free.
- Crash games excluded from other bonuses. Many deposit bonuses count crash games at 0%; read the eligible-games list.
- Copycat games. Some sites offer flights on their own crash game, not Spribe’s Aviator; the rules can differ.

Free flights vs free spins vs a free bet
Several South African offers let you choose between an Aviator reward, slot spins and a sports free bet. BetXchange’s EPL Bet & Get is the clearest example: an R20 free bet, 20 flights or 100 spins. Which is worth most depends on the stake attached to each, and BetXchange doesn’t publish the flight or spin value, so assume the minimum stake.
As a rule of thumb, the free bet usually carries the most value if you’re happy to bet at odds around 2.00, because its stake tends to be larger than a flight’s or a spin’s. Flights suit players who already enjoy crash games and want a quick, low-stakes session. Spins suit slot players. None of them is worth changing your normal betting to qualify for.
Play crash games carefully
Aviator rounds take seconds, which makes it easy to play hundreds in a sitting. Free flights are a good way to try the game without risking your money; once you play with your own, set a session limit and a loss limit before you start. Frequently asked questions
Which betting site gives free Aviator flights in South Africa?
Betway gives 10 free Aviator flights as part of its sign-up bundle (after an R50 deposit and a qualifying multibet), and BetXchange's EPL Bet & Get lets you choose 20 Aviator flights as a weekly reward.
How do Aviator free flights work?
Each flight is one round of Aviator at a fixed stake that the bookmaker pays for. You choose when to cash out; winnings are credited if you cash out at or above the minimum multiplier, 1.5x at Betway.
Can I use a deposit bonus on Aviator?
Sometimes. Wanejobets' daily boost counts on Aviator and slots, and Betshezi's casino bonus can be wagered on its own crash game, Shezi AVI. Many casino bonuses exclude crash games, so check the eligible games.
Is there an Aviator strategy that guarantees wins with free flights?
No. Every Aviator round is independent and the game has a fixed return of about 97%. Cashing out early wins more often but pays less; no method beats the house edge.
