Reload bonuses
A reload bonus is a deposit match for players who already have an account: a percentage of a later deposit added as bonus money, daily, weekly or on a set day. In South Africa they range from Wanejobets' 8% daily boost to ZARbet's 100% up to R2,000 and Jackpot Cash's daily 100% Instant EFT Double.

How reload bonuses work
Welcome bonuses are for new players. Reloads are what casinos and bookmakers offer once you’ve joined: a match on a later deposit to keep you coming back.
Reloads in our data come in three shapes:
- Daily reloads. A small percentage on your first deposit of the day: Wanejo Bets’ Daily Boost (8% up to R1,000) and Jackpot Cash’s Instant EFT Double (100% up to R5,000, code SWDOUBLE).
- Deposit-triggered reloads. ZARbet gives 100% up to R2,000 when you deposit R100; Jackpot Cash’s Friday Cash Flash gives R300 after you deposit and play.
- Second-deposit and product reloads. BetXchange’s R20,000 second-deposit offer refunds your first losing bet, and Hollywoodbets has advertised a 15% horse racing deposit bonus (still being confirmed).
Multi-deposit welcome packages, such as Goldrush’s four stages, work like a series of reloads but only for new players; they’re on the welcome bonus page.
What a reload costs in Rands
Worked example: a small, light reload
Wanejobets’ Daily Boost adds 8% to the day’s first deposit at 5x the bonus.
- Deposit R500: bonus R40.
- Wagering: R40 × 5 = R200 in bets.
- Expected cost at 96% RTP: about R8.
- Expected value: about R32 for depositing what you would have anyway.
Worked example: a big, heavy reload
Jackpot Cash’s EFT Double gives 100% at 30x deposit plus bonus.
- Deposit R500: bonus R500, so R1,000 to wager on.
- Wagering: R1,000 × 30 = R30,000 in bets.
- Expected cost: about R1,200 at a 4% house edge.
- Expected value: negative on average; the bonus is used up before it clears for most players.
The smaller reload is worth more in practice. That’s typical: the bigger the percentage, the heavier the wagering tends to be. Use the wagering calculator to check any reload before you opt in.
How to claim a reload bonus
- Check the promotions page or the offer card here for the current reload.
- Opt in or subscribe if the promotion asks you to. Wanejobets’ reloads need you to click Subscribe first.
- Enter the brand’s code if it uses one (Jackpot Cash: SWDOUBLE in the cashier).
- Deposit at least the minimum with an eligible method; the EFT Double, as the name says, is for Instant EFT.
- Confirm the bonus has landed before you play.
- Wager it within the deadline, under the maximum bet.
Terms that trip people up
- Opt-in first. Depositing before subscribing usually means no bonus.
- First deposit of the day only. Daily reloads ignore your second and third deposits.
- Payment method rules. Some reloads are tied to one method; others exclude vouchers or e-wallets.
- Your deposit gets locked. With deposit-plus-bonus wagering, your own money can’t be withdrawn until you finish or forfeit.
- Stacking. Most sites allow only one active bonus at a time.
- Short windows. Two days is common for daily reloads.

Also check the bonus history in your account after each reload: it shows how much wagering is left and when the bonus expires, which saves surprises when you try to withdraw.

For ongoing value without wagering, compare cashback bonuses. Weekly spins for existing players are on free spins, and each brand’s own codes are on its bonus page: Jackpot Cash’s headline deal, for example, is Up to R15,000.
Should you take every reload?
No. Take reloads with light wagering on deposits you were already going to make. Skip reloads with 30x or more if you might want to withdraw soon, because they lock your deposit until the wagering is done. There’s no shame in depositing without a bonus; it keeps your money flexible.
Reloads at SA-licensed vs offshore brands
Provincially licensed bookmakers tend to favour bet-and-get free bets, cashback and spins over deposit reloads. Deposit reloads are more common at RTG casinos such as Jackpot Cash and at brands with a heavy casino focus, such as Wanejobets and ZARbet. If you mostly bet on sport, a bookmaker’s weekly free bets will probably give you more than any reload.
Reloads and your budget
Reloads are designed to bring you back more often. That’s their whole purpose, and it’s worth being honest with yourself about it. Before you opt in, ask whether you would have deposited today without the offer; if the answer is no, the reload isn’t saving you money, it’s costing you a deposit. Weekly and monthly deposit limits, which every licensed operator must provide, are the simplest way to stop a stream of small reloads adding up to more than you planned.
If a reload ever feels like a reason to win back what you’ve lost, step away. The NRGP’s free helpline is 0800 006 008.
Frequently asked questions
Do South African casinos give bonuses to existing players?
Yes. Reloads, cashback, weekly free spins and bet-and-get free bets are all for existing players. ZARbet, Jackpot Cash, Wanejobets and BetXchange run regular deposit reloads.

A few brands use their own public reload codes; Jackpot Cash's SWDOUBLE unlocks its daily Instant EFT Double. Most reloads at SA bookmakers are opt-in on the promotions page, with no code.
What wagering do reload bonuses have?
It varies widely: Wanejobets' Daily Boost is 5x the bonus, while Jackpot Cash's EFT Double is 30x deposit plus bonus. Check each card before you opt in.
How often can I claim a reload bonus?
As often as the offer says: Wanejobets' and Jackpot Cash's reloads are daily, ZARbet's is tied to a R100 deposit, and BetXchange's is a one-off second-deposit offer.
