Rollbit casino review
Rollbit is a crypto-only casino, sportsbook and futures site that pays instant rakeback on every bet instead of a welcome bonus. It has 10,000+ games and near-instant withdrawals, but holds only a Curaçao licence, SA access isn't confirmed and support ratings are weak.

Who Rollbit suits
Rollbit is unlike most casinos South Africans will come across. It is three products in one account: a crypto casino with more than 10000 games, a sportsbook, and a crypto futures trading platform where you can bet on price moves with leverage. It also sells its own NFTs, which raise your rakeback, and has its own token.
It suits a narrow group of players:
- Experienced crypto users who already hold coins and know how to move them between networks.
- High-volume players who would rather earn steady rakeback than clear a welcome bonus.
- Players who want quick payouts in crypto.
It’s a poor fit for almost everyone else. There’s no Rand account, no welcome bonus, an offshore Curaçao licence, unconfirmed South African access and below-average player feedback on support. The futures trading also sits one click away from the casino, which adds a different and serious kind of risk.
If you want an offshore site that takes Rands and offers a deposit bonus, 1Win is our featured pick. If you want local protection, our SA-licensed casinos list is the place to start.
The Rollbit bonus explained in Rands
No welcome match
Rollbit doesn’t do welcome bonuses. That surprises players used to 100% or 200% matches, but it isn’t necessarily worse. A big match with 35x or 40x wagering usually costs more in expected losses than it’s worth, as our other reviews show. Rollbit replaces it with rakeback, which you can withdraw immediately.
Instant rakeback
Rakeback returns part of the house edge on every bet you place. Rollbit lets you claim it at any time with 0x wagering, and holders of its NFTs earn an extra 2.5% to 10% on top of the standard rate, according to reviews.
The headline figure in our data is a 50% rate, but it’s important to understand what it applies to. Rakeback is a percentage of the house edge, not of your bets. Here’s how it works in Rands:
- You bet R10,000 in total on a slot with a 4% house edge. Your expected loss is R400.
- At 50% rakeback on that edge, you get back about R200.
- Your expected net loss is about R200 instead of R400.
That’s a genuine saving, but notice the scale: to earn R200 back, you have to bet R10,000. Rakeback rewards volume, and volume is exactly what costs you money. It is a discount on losing, not a way to win. Rates also differ between game types, so check the current rakeback table in your account.
Daily race
- Wagering
- No wagering
The daily race pays prizes to the players who wager the most each day, again with no wagering on the prizes. Unless you already bet very large amounts, the top places are out of reach, and chasing them is one of the quickest ways to overspend. We’d ignore it.
Games and studios
Rollbit’s lobby is very large: more than 10000 titles across slots, live casino and its own Originals.
Originals
Rollbit makes its own provably fair games, including Crash, Dice, Plinko and Mines. You can verify each result using the round’s server and client seeds; our provably fair verifier explains the method. Originals typically have low house edges and run very fast, which is both their appeal and their danger.
Slots and live games
Third-party slots cover the big crypto-casino studios, such as Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming and Nolimit City. Expect popular titles like Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza and Wanted Dead or a Wild, plus live roulette, blackjack and game shows.
Sportsbook
The sportsbook covers major football leagues, tennis, combat sports and esports. South African markets such as PSL or Lucky Numbers are thin or absent compared with local bookmakers.
Futures and NFTs: a separate risk
Rollbit’s futures platform lets you take leveraged positions on crypto prices, with very high multipliers. This is trading, not a casino game, and leverage can wipe out a position in seconds. It also sits right beside the casino, in the same balance. If you came for slots, we’d suggest leaving the futures section alone. Rollbit’s NFTs, which boost rakeback, are speculative assets whose prices can fall sharply; don’t buy one expecting the rakeback to pay for it.
SA deposits and withdrawals, plus FICA
Rollbit only accepts crypto. Supported coins include:
- Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH)
- Tether (USDT) (Tether), the easiest way to avoid price swings while you play
- Litecoin (LTC) and other coins such as Solana
Withdrawals are quoted at Near-instant (crypto), which is excellent when it works. Player complaints about delayed or held withdrawals do exist, though, especially for large amounts, so don’t assume every payout will be instant.
Moving Rands in and out
The usual route from South Africa:
- Buy crypto on a South African exchange, which will FICA you with your ID and proof of address.
- Send it to your Rollbit deposit address on the correct network. A mismatch (for example, sending USDT on Ethereum to a TRON address) can lose the funds.
- Withdraw back to the exchange, sell for Rands and withdraw to your bank.
Expect network and exchange fees along the way. If you deposit Bitcoin and its price falls while you play, your balance in Rands falls too, even if you didn’t lose a single bet.
Identity checks
Rollbit allows sign-up with just an email, but it can ask for identity documents at any point, particularly before large withdrawals. Keep a copy of your ID and a recent proof of address ready.
Mobile
There’s no Rollbit app in the app stores. The site works in a phone browser and can be saved to your home screen. Originals and slots run well on mobile; the futures platform is cramped on a small screen, which is one more reason to keep it separate from casual play.
Support and safety
Support is available through the site, but player feedback is weak: one review platform’s player score for Rollbit support is 2.7 out of 5, and withdrawal complaints come up repeatedly. That’s why support scores below average here.
On safety, Rollbit is run by Bull Gaming N.V. under Curaçao licence 157086 and has operated since 2020. For a South African player that means:
- No local protection: you can’t escalate a complaint to a provincial gambling board.
- Unconfirmed access: South Africa isn’t named as restricted in sources we found, but the terms don’t confirm it either. Playing from a restricted country can lead to a closed account.
- Legal status: online casinos aren’t licensed in South Africa, and crypto casinos operate entirely offshore.
Rollbit offers self-exclusion through support. Instant deposits, fast Originals and leveraged trading together make it easy to lose a lot quickly. Set a firm budget, keep it in a separate wallet, and if you’re struggling, call the National Responsible Gambling Programme on 0800 006 008.
Rollbit against other crypto casinos
- BC.Game has a larger set of Originals and a welcome bonus, though under a weaker Anjouan licence.
- Shuffle offers a 100% deposit match and very fast payouts.
- Cloudbet has a longer history and a direct Curaçao Gaming Authority licence.
- Gamdom offers no-wagering rakeback for new players too, alongside esports betting.
See all of them on our crypto casinos list.
Before you sign up
- Read the restricted-country list in Rollbit’s terms and confirm South Africa isn’t on it.
- Use a stablecoin such as USDT if you want your balance to stay steady in Rand terms.
- Decide whether you’ll touch futures. If not, don’t open that section.
- Set a budget in Rands, then convert it, so you know what you’re really spending.
- Withdraw a small amount early to test the process before you build a balance.
NFT rakeback boosts: worth it?
Rollbit’s NFTs raise your rakeback by 2.5% to 10%, according to reviews. It’s tempting to think a boost will pay for the NFT over time, but the maths rarely works for ordinary players. A boost is a percentage of the house edge on your bets, so it’s worth a small fraction of what you wager. To recover the price of an NFT, you’d typically need to bet very large amounts, and the NFT’s own price can fall in the meantime. Unless you already bet heavily and understand NFT markets, skip them.
Verdict
Rollbit is a powerful platform for experienced crypto users: a huge lobby, provably fair Originals, rakeback you can claim instantly with no wagering and fast crypto payouts. Players who dislike wagering requirements will appreciate the honesty of rakeback over a big match bonus.
For most South Africans, though, the risks outweigh the features. There’s no Rand balance, no welcome bonus, an offshore licence with unconfirmed South African access, weak support ratings, and a leveraged trading product next to the casino. If you do play, use a stablecoin, ignore the daily race and the futures tab, and keep your deposits to money you can afford to lose.

Frequently asked questions
Is Rollbit available in South Africa?
South Africa doesn't appear on the restricted-country lists we found, and one review says no African countries are restricted, but Rollbit's terms don't confirm South Africa explicitly. Check the terms before depositing, because playing from a restricted country can void winnings.
Does Rollbit have a welcome bonus?
No. Rollbit doesn't offer a deposit match. Instead it pays rakeback on every bet, with no wagering, plus daily race prizes for the most active players.
How does Rollbit rakeback work?
A share of the house edge on each bet is returned to you and can be claimed instantly. Holders of Rollbit's NFTs get a higher rate, between 2.5% and 10% extra according to reviews.
Is Rollbit legit?
Rollbit is run by Bull Gaming N.V. under Curaçao licence 157086 and has operated since 2020. It's a real, large operator, but player reviews score its support and withdrawal handling poorly, and you have no South African regulator to complain to.
Can I deposit Rands at Rollbit?
No. Rollbit is crypto-only; you buy crypto on an exchange, deposit it, and your balance is held in crypto or its dollar equivalent.
