How a round works
Sweet Bonanza from Pragmatic Play is a candy-shop slot on six reels and five rows. There are no lines. Eight or more of the same symbol anywhere on the grid make a win. Bananas, grapes, watermelons and plums pay the least; the coloured sweets pay more, and the red heart sweet pays most.
After each win, the winning symbols are removed and the rest tumble down. New ones fall in to fill the gaps, and the grid is checked again. A spin can tumble several times, paying on each step.
Features
- Pay anywhere: eight or more matching symbols anywhere.
- Tumble: winning symbols clear and refill until no new wins form.
- Free spins: four or more lollipop scatters give 10 free spins. Three more scatters during the round add five spins.
- Multiplier bombs: only in free spins. Rainbow bombs land with values from 2x to 100x. At the end of a winning tumble sequence, all bomb values on screen are added and applied to the total win.
- Ante bet and buy: pay 25% more per spin to double the chance of free spins, or buy the round for 100x your stake where allowed.
The maximum win is 21100x your stake.
RTP and volatility
The default RTP is 96.51%. Pragmatic Play supplies lower versions too, and casinos choose, so open the paytable in the real-money game.
Sweet Bonanza is high volatility. The base game often returns less than your stake, with occasional good tumble chains. Free spins decide most sessions, and within free spins, the bombs decide everything. A round where bombs land on spins with no win pays very little.
Honest tips
- Bombs need a win to matter. A 100x bomb on a spin with no tumble win pays nothing.
- Ante bet is a 25% surcharge on every spin. It only makes sense if you were going to buy the bonus anyway.
- Bonus buys are costly. At 100x a buy, R1 spins mean R100 per bonus, and many return less.
- Try the demo in Rands first to see how often free spins arrive.
