Goldrush bonus and promo codes

Goldrush bonuses at a glance

Goldrush is a South African gaming group with land-based slot outlets and an online casino and sportsbook, licensed by the Northern Cape Gambling Board. Online, its bonuses are among the largest from a locally licensed operator.

• Casino welcome: up to R28,000 + 300 free spins over four deposits.
• Casino cashback: up to 10% on net losses from R3,000.
• Multi-bet boost: 3% on two-leg winning multis, up to 600% on 50+ legs.
• MyGoldrush loyalty: seven tiers, with points for spins and bonuses.

There’s no sports welcome offer at the moment, and no no-deposit bonus: the 50 free spins on registration that some sites still list isn’t part of Goldrush’s current offers, so we’ve marked it expired.

The R28,000 + 300 spins welcome package

The package has four stages. Each one is claimed under Profile → Bonuses after you deposit.

1. First deposit (R25+): 100% up to R10,000 + 100 spins on Gates of Olympus, 30x. The spins expire two days after they’re issued.
2. Second deposit (R25+): 75% up to R3,000, 30x, plus a free drink and R250 in free play at a Goldrush outlet.
3. Third deposit (R50+): 100% up to R5,000 + 50 spins, 25x.
4. Fourth deposit (R50+): 100% up to R10,000 + 150 spins, 25x.

All four stages must be claimed within seven days of registering, and the deposit matches apply to slots only. Winnings from the bonus are capped; the offer card shows the figure we hold, and Goldrush’s own table gives a per-stage cap, so check the stage you’re claiming.

Worked example

Deposit R500 at stage one: you get R500 in bonus and 100 spins. At 30x the bonus, you need R15,000 in slot bets within seven days. At a 4% house edge, that costs about R600 on average, slightly more than the bonus. The 100 spins add perhaps R20 of value. In plain terms, stage one is roughly break-even on average, with the chance of a bigger result if a feature lands early.

Stages three and four, at 25x, are a little kinder: R500 at 25x is R12,500 in bets, about R500 in expected cost.

Ongoing offers

• Casino cashback. Lose R3,000 or more net on casino in a period and up to 10% comes back, credited the next day between 10:00 and 11:00. It applies to slots in the Gold Reels section.
• Multi-bet boost. Win a multi with legs at odds of 1.30 or more and Goldrush adds 3% for two legs, rising to 600% for 50 or more.
• MyGoldrush loyalty app. Earn points on real-money play across seven tiers and swap them for spins and bonuses, online or in store.

How to claim the Goldrush welcome bonus

1. Open Goldrush from the offer card on this page.
2. Register with your SA ID number and cellphone number.
3. Complete FICA (ID and proof of address) straight away.
4. Deposit R25 or more. Voucher deposits start from as little as R1, but the bonus needs R25.
5. Go to Profile → Bonuses and claim the first-stage bonus.
6. Play the 100 spins within two days.
7. Wager the match 30x on slots, within the limits.
8. Claim stages two to four with your next deposits before day seven.

Is the Goldrush package worth it?

The headline is large for a locally licensed operator, and the second-deposit perk (a free drink and R250 in free play at a Goldrush outlet) is unusual and useful if you live near one. But the whole package must be claimed within seven days of registering, and each stage carries 25x or 30x wagering on slots. That suits players who were planning several deposits in their first week anyway. If you’d normally deposit once or twice a month, take stage one at a size you can wager comfortably, and ignore the rest; there’s no penalty for leaving stages unclaimed.

Terms to check

• Seven days from registration for the whole package, not from each deposit.
• Different wagering per stage: 30x, 30x, 25x, 25x.
• Slots only for the deposit matches.
• R3,000 minimum loss before cashback applies.
• Claim manually under Profile → Bonuses; nothing is added automatically.

Goldrush’s sister brand Gbets runs a no deposit sign-up offer and a separate R21,000 package. Compare big packages on 300+ free spins and welcome bonuses, or read the full Goldrush review.
