Wazdan games

Who Wazdan is

Wazdan has made casino games since 2010 and is based in Malta, with licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission among others. It’s a prolific studio with well over 100 games. It’s known for practical features that give players more control: adjustable volatility, Ultra Lite mode for weak connections, and a “Hold the Jackpot” family of coin slots.

What Wazdan games are known for

• Volatility Levels. In many games you can choose low, standard or high volatility. The RTP stays the same; only the pattern of wins changes.
• Hold the Jackpot. Coin symbols lock during respins, with fixed jackpots on top. Wazdan’s take on the format Booongo made famous.
• Classic fruit and jokers. Many games are modern versions of fruit machines, with gamble features.
• Ultra Lite and Ultra Fast modes. Settings that cut animations and data use, which suits mobile play on a tight data budget.

Best Wazdan games

Lucky Fish is the Wazdan slot in our library, a fishing-themed slot with an RTP of 96.5% and a top win of 350x your stake. That’s a modest ceiling, which makes it a gentler game than its theme might suggest. The demo plays free on its page.

The name causes confusion. In South Africa, searches like “lucky fish promo code”, “lucky fish 100 free spins” and “lucky fish sign up bonus” are about the licensed brand Lucky Fish, not this slot. KA Gaming also makes a fishing game called Lucky Fish. Check the provider name in the lobby so you know which one you’re opening.

Where South Africans can play Wazdan

Wazdan is carried by many international casinos and some aggregator-fed lobbies. We haven’t confirmed a South African provincially licensed casino that lists Wazdan, so check the lobby. 1Win is open to South Africans, has a large slot library and offers 500% up to R75,000 over 4 deposits; it’s licensed in Curaçao, so there’s no provincial dispute route.

With a bonus, choose the low or standard volatility setting where it’s offered. It doesn’t change the expected cost of the wagering, but it makes your balance less likely to run out before you finish.

Wazdan and data costs

Wazdan’s Ultra Lite mode is worth knowing about in South Africa, where mobile data isn’t cheap. It strips back animations and graphics to cut data use and load times. The maths doesn’t change, so you get the same game for less data. Look for the setting in the game menu.
