YGR games

Who YGR is

YGR is a slot studio aimed mainly at Asian markets, with a portfolio of roughly 60 or more slots plus fishing-style games. It is known for bonus-heavy video slots with regional themes. Its games reach players through Asian-facing casinos and aggregators rather than through big European distribution deals.

We haven’t found a confirmed founding year, headquarters or licence for YGR. That’s common for Asia-focused studios, but it does mean less public information to judge the studio by. For your own protection, focus on the licence of the casino you play at.

What YGR games are known for

• Long-running series. Maya Golden City has reached at least six versions, each with a new layout or feature.
• Bonus-heavy design. Free spins, multipliers and collecting features that trigger often.
• Asian and adventure themes. Lost cities, gold, gods and treasure.
• High volatility on some titles. The game in our data is rated high, with a very large top win.

Best YGR games

Maya Golden City 6 is the YGR slot in our library. It’s the sixth game in the Mayan treasure series, with high volatility and a top win of 11250x your stake. Its RTP isn’t confirmed in our data. Reviews of the series also disagree on layouts between versions, so check the paytable and info screen of the version you’re playing.

When a slot’s RTP isn’t published clearly, you can’t tell how expensive it is to play. That’s a fair reason to choose a game whose figures you can see.

Where South Africans can play YGR

YGR’s games appear mostly at Asian-facing and large international casinos. We haven’t confirmed a South African provincially licensed casino that lists them. 1Win is open to South Africans, has a large slot section and offers 500% up to R75,000 over 4 deposits; it’s licensed in Curaçao, so there’s no provincial board to complain to.

Playing a long slot series

When a studio releases six versions of the same game, each one usually changes the reels, lines or features while keeping the theme. Don’t assume the newest version is better or pays more. Compare the info screens of the versions your casino has, and pick the one whose RTP and features you prefer.
