What Ra’s Relics Bonanza is

Ra’s Relics Bonanza is a July 2025 slot from Booming Games. It brings the studio’s Egyptian theme (Ra, the sun god, with scarabs, ankhs, golden masks and relics) to the pay-anywhere format popularised by Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus. If you’ve played those, you’ll understand this game within a few spins.

How a round works

There are no paylines. You win when enough matching symbols land anywhere on the grid. Larger counts pay more. That makes the screen easy to read: count the symbols of one type.

Scatter symbols trigger the bonus, and multipliers can land to boost wins. In pay-anywhere games like this, multipliers usually apply to the total win of the spin, so one high multiplier on a winning spin can make a big difference.

Free spins and bonus buy

Scatters trigger free spins, where multipliers appear more often or carry more weight. That’s where nearly all of the game’s big results come from. A bonus buy lets you start the round directly for a fixed price where the casino allows it.

The maximum listed win is 6500 times your stake.

RTP and volatility in plain words

The RTP is 96.1%, around the average, according to SlotCatalog. We didn’t find an official Booming figure, so check the info screen in the game at your casino.

Volatility is high. Expect many spins that return little, and a free spins round that can pay modestly or very well depending on the multipliers it gathers.

Egyptian slots, three ways

Booming has more than one take on Ra:

• Light of Ra: a 30-line game with walking wilds and symbol removal.
• Ra’s Relics Bonanza (this page): pay anywhere with multipliers.
• Classic book slots like Book of Dead and Lucky Legend use an expanding symbol instead.

They share a theme but play completely differently, so pick the mechanic you enjoy, not just the look.

Pay anywhere, explained

On a pay-anywhere grid, position doesn’t matter at all. Eight lotus symbols scattered in different corners pay the same as eight in a row. That’s simpler than lines or ways, but it also means the screen often shows “almost” wins: seven matching symbols pay nothing if the threshold is eight. Those near-misses are part of the design, not a sign that a win is coming.

Honest tips

• Bonus buys don’t beat the RTP. They’re a shortcut to the feature at a price.
• Use small stakes. High volatility needs many spins to reach the free spins.
• Check the RTP in-game, since the published figure comes from a third party.
• Set a stop-loss before you start.

Who it suits

It suits players who enjoy pay-anywhere multiplier games and want an Egyptian theme. If you prefer steadier play, a medium volatility game is a better fit.
