Lulabet bonus and promo codes

How Lulabet’s welcome offer works

Lulabet launched in South Africa in 2022 and holds a Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board licence. Instead of a big deposit match, it gives you a reward equal to your first bet. You choose sport or casino at registration, and the amount you deposit decides the size.

Deposits between those two amounts don’t unlock a bigger tier, so deposit exactly R50 or R250 if you want the offer.

The sports route: R250 free bet

• Deposit R250 within 7 days of registering.
• Place a first bet of R250 on a single pre-match event at the minimum odds (sources quote 1.70 to 2; check the promotion page).
• Get the free bet of R250 once that bet settles, win or lose.
• Use it within 7 days.

The rollover is just 1x: your own deposit, bet once. That’s as light as it gets. Remember that a free bet pays winnings only: R250 at 2.00 returns R250 profit, not R500. Avoid cashing out the qualifying bet, because cashed-out bets don’t count.

The R50 version works the same way with a R50 bet and a R50 free bet. It’s a sensible starting point if you’re new to betting.

The casino route: 100 free spins

Choose the casino offer at sign-up, deposit R250 and play it once on slots or live games. Lulabet then credits 100 free spins on Gates of Olympus 1000.

Spin winnings carry 30x wagering on slots or live games, and the spins expire 7 days after registration. If 100 spins return R150, you’d need R4,500 of further play before withdrawing. Gates of Olympus 1000 is highly volatile: some sessions pay nothing, others land large multipliers.

The R50 tier gives 25 spins on the same slot with the same rules.

How to claim

1. Register at Lulabet and choose the sports or casino welcome offer.
2. Complete FICA.
3. Deposit R50 or R250 by Ozow, card or voucher.
4. Bet the deposit once (pre-match sport, or slots and live games).
5. Your free bet or spins are credited; use them within 7 days.

Promotions for existing players

• Multi bets bonus: up to 225% extra on big accumulators.
• Refer a friend: a R50 free bet.
• Short-term reload codes on Lulabet’s own promotions page, for example a sports or slots match over a weekend, plus cashback and crash-game challenges.

Sport or spins: which to choose

The choice is locked at registration, so think about how you’ll use the site:

• You bet on PSL or Premier League every week: take the sports route. The qualifying R250 bet is one you’d likely place anyway, and the R250 free bet adds a second chance at a profit.
• You mainly play slots: take the spins. 100 spins on Gates of Olympus 1000 give plenty of play, even if the 30x rollover means only some winnings convert.
• You’re new to betting: start with the R50 tier. It’s the same structure at a fifth of the risk.

Worked example: the R250 free bet

You deposit R250 and bet it on a team at 2.14. If it wins, you get R535 back as cash. Either way, Lulabet then adds a R250 free bet. Use it at 2.20: a win pays R300 in winnings (the stake isn’t returned). In the best case, your R250 deposit becomes R835; in the worst case, you lose the R250 you chose to bet. That’s the honest range for any free-bet offer.

Mistakes to avoid

• Depositing R100 or R200: only R50 and R250 deposits unlock the tiers, so in-between amounts waste the offer.
• Betting live instead of pre-match: the qualifying sports bet must be on a pre-match event.
• Cashing out the qualifying bet: it won’t count, and you won’t get the free bet.

Is Lulabet’s offer good value?

For sports bettors, the R250 free bet with a 1x rollover is one of the cleanest welcome offers in the country, because you only bet what you deposited. The casino version is less generous once 30x wagering is applied, but 100 spins for a R250 deposit is still a fair start for Gates of Olympus fans.

Lulabet’s 25-spin tier is one of the few offers behind our 25 free spins page. Compare it with 100% up to R5,000 for a classic match, or Free bet R50 for spins from R25. Our Lulabet review covers the rest. Bet within a budget; the NRGP helpline is 0800 006 008.
