Parimatch betting review
We couldn't confirm that Parimatch takes bets from South Africa: we found no South African offer, licence or payment methods. Its welcome deals in our sources are for the UK and India. The brand does have a South African link, as a 2025 sponsor of SA20 side Joburg Super Kings, but sponsorship isn't the same as availability.

02Our review
The short answer
We couldn’t confirm that Parimatch is available to South African bettors. Parimatch is a big international betting brand, but in our research:
- there’s no South African welcome offer: the deals we found are for UK and Indian customers
- there’s no South African licence in our data
- there are no confirmed Rand payment methods
- our data doesn’t record Parimatch as accepting South African players
Our brand notes say it plainly: treat South African availability as unconfirmed.
So why a review? Because South Africans do search for Parimatch, partly thanks to its visibility in South African cricket. This page explains what Parimatch is, the South African connections we found, what to check if you’re tempted to try it, and which bookmakers to use instead.
Who Parimatch is
Parimatch is one of the larger international betting brands, founded in Eastern Europe and now active in several markets including the UK and India, under licences issued in those countries. It sponsors football clubs, fighters and cricket teams around the world, and runs sportsbooks and casinos that differ by country.
That last point matters. A brand’s offer in one country tells you little about another. The UK site is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and built for UK customers; the Indian-facing offer is built for rupee payments and the IPL. Neither is a South African product.
The South African links
There are two:
Joburg Super Kings sponsorship
Parimatch was listed as an official principal partner of Joburg Super Kings in the SA20 in 2025. That put its logo in front of every South African cricket fan watching JSK.
Sponsorship isn’t the same as taking bets. International betting brands often sponsor teams for global TV exposure, including in markets where they don’t operate. A logo on a shirt doesn’t mean the brand is licensed or accepting customers in that country.
Parimatch-branded casino games
SlotCatalog lists Parimatch-branded games at some casinos that accept South Africans. These are casino titles carrying the brand, not the Parimatch sportsbook. Playing one doesn’t mean you have a Parimatch account.
Bonuses
We found no South African Parimatch offer. The welcome deals in our sources are for UK and Indian customers, with terms set in pounds or rupees and tied to those countries’ rules.
Be careful with review sites that convert those offers into Rands. A converted figure isn’t an offer, and if Parimatch doesn’t accept South Africans, there’s no offer to claim. If you want a confirmed sign-up deal, see our sign-up bonus and free bets pages.
Markets
Our data lists Parimatch for the international headline markets: the EPL, the Champions League, La Liga, tennis, boxing and MMA. That reflects its global sportsbook, not a confirmed South African product.
No PSL, South African horse racing, Lucky Numbers or local competitions are recorded for Parimatch. For those, use a bookmaker from our PSL betting sites, horse racing betting sites or Lucky Numbers lists.
Live betting, cash-out and odds
Parimatch’s international sportsbooks offer in-play betting and cash-out in the markets where they operate. We can’t confirm how either works for South Africans, because we can’t confirm South Africans can bet there. We also have no price data.
For live betting with confirmed cash-out from licensed local books, see our live betting list.
Mobile
Parimatch runs apps in its licensed markets. Our data has no South African app record. Be wary of any “Parimatch South Africa” app shared through WhatsApp groups or social media: big brands are often copied by scam apps that take deposits and never pay out. If a brand doesn’t officially operate in South Africa, an app claiming to be its South African version deserves extra suspicion.
Payments
No payment methods are confirmed for Parimatch in our South African data. Our payments research lists it among the brands with no reliable South African or Rand source. Without a cashier that accepts South African methods and a Rand currency option, there’s no practical way to bet.
Licensing and your protection
Parimatch holds licences in some of the countries where it operates. None of them is South African. If you somehow did bet with a Parimatch site from South Africa:
- no South African board would oversee your account
- you’d have no local complaint route if a withdrawal was refused
- the site’s terms might bar South African residents, which could be used to void winnings
That last risk is serious. Using a site from a country it doesn’t accept customers from, for example through a VPN, usually breaks its terms, and bookmakers can close accounts and keep balances when they find out. Our how we rate page explains why unconfirmed availability is the lowest trust score we give.
Why availability matters more than the brand
It’s tempting to judge a bookmaker by how well known it is. A famous name feels safe. But for a South African punter, the questions that decide whether a bookmaker is usable are much more basic:
- Will it accept you? A bookmaker’s terms list the countries it serves. If South Africa isn’t one of them, any account you open can be closed, and any balance withheld.
- Can you pay in and out? Without a Rand currency option and a method you can use for withdrawals, a deposit is a one-way trip.
- Who do you complain to? A South African licence gives you a provincial board. An international licence for another country gives you nothing you can use from here.
On all three, Parimatch is unconfirmed for South Africa. A smaller bookmaker that clearly passes all three, such as a provincially licensed local brand, is a better choice than a famous one that doesn’t.
Offshore brands that do accept South Africans
If you specifically want an international bookmaker rather than a local one, several in our data confirm South African accounts in Rands. They’re all licensed offshore, so they share the same trade-off: no provincial board and no local complaint route.
- PariPesa has a 100% sports bonus up to R2,000 with a confirmed 5x rollover, from R17.
- Melbet has a 200% sports bonus up to R3,400 from R17.
- 22Bet has a 100% bonus up to R2,550 and confirms Skrill and Neteller alongside crypto.
Other brands in our data are in a similar position to Parimatch, with South African availability or offers unclear: Mostbet, 4rabet and Megapari. Their reviews explain what’s missing.
What we’d need to see to change this review
We’ll update this page if Parimatch’s South African position changes. We’d need:
- South Africa listed as an accepted country in Parimatch’s own terms
- a Rand account option and named South African payment methods
- a welcome offer published for South African accounts
- ideally, a South African provincial licence
Until then, Parimatch stays in our data as an unconfirmed brand, scored at the bottom of our trust scale.
What to check if you’re tempted
If you still want to see whether Parimatch accepts South Africans:
- Go to Parimatch’s official site directly, not through an advert or message.
- Start registration and check whether South Africa is in the country list.
- Check whether ZAR is offered, and what the cashier offers.
- Read the terms on restricted countries.
If South Africa isn’t accepted, don’t try to get around it.

If Parimatch appealed because of its cricket profile or big-brand feel:
- Hollywoodbets and Betway are licensed in South Africa, cover the SA20, Proteas and IPL, and take every local payment method.
- 1Win, our featured brand, is an international bookmaker that accepts South Africans under a Curaçao licence, with Ozow and other local methods in our data; its SA bonus terms are still being confirmed.
- Melbet and 22Bet are offshore books that do confirm Rand accounts.
Staying in control
Whichever bookmaker you choose, set a deposit limit before your first bet, and never bet money you need for living costs. Our responsible gambling page explains the tools available at licensed South African sites.
Verdict
Parimatch is a well-known international brand with a visible South African sponsorship, but we found nothing to show it takes bets from South Africans: no local offer, no South African licence, no Rand payments.
We can’t recommend Parimatch to South African punters. Choose a bookmaker that clearly accepts you, ideally one with a South African licence, from our best betting sites list.

Frequently asked questions
Is Parimatch available in South Africa?
We couldn't confirm it. We found no South African offer, licence or Rand payment methods for Parimatch, only offers for the UK and India. Treat SA availability as unconfirmed.
Does Parimatch sponsor a South African team?
Yes. Parimatch was listed as an official principal partner of Joburg Super Kings in the SA20 in 2025. That's a sponsorship, not confirmation that Parimatch takes bets from South Africans.
Is there a Parimatch welcome bonus for South Africans?
Not that we could find. The offers we saw were for UK and Indian customers. Don't assume either applies in South Africa.
Is Parimatch licensed in South Africa?
No South African licence appears in our data. Parimatch operates under licences in other countries, which don't give South African players a local complaint route.
What are the Parimatch games at South African casinos?
SlotCatalog lists Parimatch-branded casino games at some casinos that accept South Africans. Those are games, not the Parimatch sportsbook.
