How a round works
Nuwa Deluxe is an updated version of Habanero’s Nuwa, released in 2026. Nüwa is the goddess who, in Chinese legend, made people from yellow clay and mended the broken sky. The game shows her above five reels of jade, phoenixes and gold coins.
What sets Nuwa Deluxe apart is that the game grows as you play. It starts with 28 lines. Special symbols that land feed a collection meter, and each stage of the meter adds lines, up to 88. You pay the same stake per spin, but more lines give each spin more ways to win.
Features
- Line expansion: 28 to 88 lines, unlocked by collecting symbols.
- Expanding symbols: some symbols expand to fill a reel, making multi-line wins likely.
- Free spins: scatters start the round; more scatters add more spins.
- Progressive jackpot: Habanero attaches a jackpot to this game, which can drop at random.
- Buy feature: where allowed, pay to go directly to free spins.
The top regular win is 852x, not counting the jackpot.
RTP and volatility
The default RTP is 96.6%. Habanero supplies the game at 86%, 92%, 94%, 97% and 98% too, and the casino chooses. This is the most important number to check before playing any Habanero game for real money; the help screen shows it.
Nuwa Deluxe is listed as very high volatility. Its regular top win is fairly modest, which suggests much of the value sits in the jackpot and long free spins rounds. In practice: many quiet spins, occasional strong hits.
Honest tips
- Find out whether line progress is saved. In collection games, leaving or changing the stake can reset progress. Read the rules before spending to “unlock” lines.
- Don’t chase the 88 lines. The meter is designed to keep you playing. Set a budget and stop there, whatever the meter shows.
- Check the RTP version in the menu before you start.
- Use free spins offers on Habanero to try it. Hollywoodbets, Supabets and Lucky Fish all give spins on Habanero games, though not always on this one.
