BetJets bonus and promo codes

The BetJets welcome offer has changed

BetJets launched in 2024 under a Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board licence, and integrates TAB tote pools for racing. Its welcome offer used to be a sports match up to R1,000. That has ended: BetJets support has confirmed there’s currently no sports welcome bonus for new accounts. What remains is a casino offer:

• Match: 100% up to R5,000.
• Minimum deposit: R10.
• Wagering: 17.5x deposit plus bonus.
• Time limit: 7 days.

The R10 entry and what 17.5x costs

A R10 qualifying deposit is among the lowest in South Africa. But because the wagering counts your deposit plus the bonus, the target grows quickly:

• Deposit R10, get R10: 17.5 × R20 = R350 of play.
• Deposit R500, get R500: 17.5 × R1,000 = R17,500.
• Deposit R5,000, get R5,000: 17.5 × R10,000 = R175,000.

All of that must happen in seven days, so most players should deposit small. A R100 or R200 deposit gives a bonus you can realistically play through.

Game weighting

What you play decides how quickly the target falls:

In practice this is a slots bonus. A R10 bet on Aviator reduces your wagering by just 10c.

How to claim

1. Register at BetJets. No sign-up code is needed.
2. Open the cashier and choose your payment method.
3. Tick “I have a promotional code” and enter the welcome code shown in BetJets’ bonus terms.
4. Click Activate Bonus and deposit at least R10.
5. Wager deposit plus bonus 17.5x within 7 days.

If you forget to tick the code box, contact live chat before you place any bets so the bonus can be added manually. Asking to withdraw your cash before the wagering is done forfeits the bonus.

Promotions for existing players

• Soccer Bet & Get: bet R250 on soccer and get a R25 bonus bet, valid 7 days on soccer only.
• Daily bet boosts at 11:00 on selected PSL and international matches, with stakes usually capped at R500.
• Prize wheels and daily slot tournaments, with a top daily prize of R60,000.

What happened to the sports bonus?

When BetJets launched, new players could take a 100% sports match up to R1,000 from a low deposit. Review sites still list it, but BetJets support has confirmed it’s no longer available to new accounts. If you sign up expecting it, you’ll find only the casino match in the cashier. This is common among newer bookmakers, which often adjust their welcome offers in the first year or two.

For now, a sports bettor at BetJets gets value from the regular promotions instead: the R25 Soccer Bet & Get bonus bet, daily boosted odds, and TAB tote pools on racing.

A sensible way to use the casino match

Because the wagering counts deposit plus bonus, the smart move is a modest first deposit:

1. Deposit R100 with the welcome code and get R100 in bonus.
2. Your target is 17.5 × R200 = R3,500 of slot play in seven days.
3. At R5 a spin, that’s 700 spins, roughly 100 a day.
4. If your balance runs out, stop: the bonus has done its job as extra playing time.

Big deposits make the target unrealistic. A R5,000 deposit would need R175,000 of spins in a week, far beyond what most players should wager.

Licence and payouts

BetJets holds a Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board licence, so unresolved bonus disputes can go to the WCGRB. That’s a meaningful protection compared with offshore casinos offering bigger headline bonuses.

Don’t forget the cashier code

The one step new players miss most often is the promo code box in the cashier. BetJets doesn’t ask for a code at sign-up, so it’s easy to assume none is needed. If you deposit without ticking “I have a promotional code”, the match won’t be added automatically. Contact live chat before you bet if that happens: once you’ve played with the deposit, support may not be able to add the bonus.

Is it worth claiming?

For slot players starting small, yes: R10 gets you a matched bonus and 17.5x is lower than the 20x to 40x many local casinos ask. For sports bettors, there’s nothing at sign-up any more, so look at 100 free spins on Gates of Olympus 1000 (1x on a R250 free bet) or 100% up to R5,000 for racing instead. If you want casino spins as well as a match, Free bet R50 starts from R25.
