What “15% rakeback” means

Every casino game has a house edge: the casino’s built-in margin. On a slot with 96% RTP, the edge is 4%. Gamdom pays back 15% of that edge on every bet you settle in your first 7 days.

In Rand terms: bet the equivalent of R20,000 on slots with a 4% edge, and the expected cost is about R800. 15% of R800 is about R120, credited as cash at the end of the week. It’s a discount on play, not a profit.

Only games with a house edge count. Gamdom’s terms exclude games where the edge can’t be calculated in the usual way, and bets placed after day seven don’t count.

Activation: the 6-hour window
