When you open the live bets section, the available live games are listed at the top. For example, when I wrote this review the options included soccer, tennis, rugby union, and cricket.

You can look at lines using the overview tab, event view tab, or the live schedule tab. The live bet lines open on your screen, and you place bets by clicking on the line. Your bets go on your bet slip, where you enter the amount you want to bet.

How to Use Bet.co.za

The first step is creating an account. It’s free to create a Bet.co.za account. Before you place your first bet, you need to fund your account. Deposit options are covered in the next section.

Bet.co.za offers a computer-based platform and a mobile platform. Both the computer and mobile platforms work basically the same. Here’s more information about both platforms.

Computer

When you log into your account, you’re in the main sportsbook area. You choose from the following options across the top of your screen.

In the sports section, all the available leagues and betting options are listed to the left. Click on the sport or league you want to bet on, and the available matches and betting lines open.

Find the line you want to bet on and click on the odds. You can use decimal or fractional odds. You can change these with the tab toward the upper right of the screen.

When you click on the bet you want, it’s added to your bet slip. The bet slip displays to the right. Enter the amount you want to wager, and the bet slip updates to show the return and total payout. When you’re ready to finalize your bet, click the place bets button.

Mobile

The Bet.co.za mobile platform works almost exactly like the computer platform. The only difference is how you find things because of the smaller mobile screen. Here are the main differences on the mobile platform.

To find sports and leagues, touch the hamburger menu in the top left. A hamburger menu is a series of lines. The menu opens, and you touch the sport or league you want and the lines open.

When you touch the odds you want to bet, the bet is placed on your bet slip. To look at your bet slip, touch the green circle that pops up toward the bottom of your screen.

Bet.co.za Bonus

The current sign up bonus for first time gamblers at Bet.co.za is a match of up to R1000. But this isn’t the only bonus offer available. After creating an account, you can see all the promotional offers and bonuses on their bet.co.za promotions page.

Here’s how the R1000 welcome bonus works:

If you deposit R50 to R1000, then you receive a 100% match bonus. So, if you deposit R500, you get an extra R500. To receive the maximum bonus, deposit at least R1000.

When you make your first deposit, a pop-up comes up where you accept the bonus. You can only use the bonus for sports bets and at Bet Vegas. Bets at Bet Vegas count 25% toward the clearing requirement.

You have 30 days to clear the bonus, and you have to bet the amount of your bonus six times to clear the bonus. Bets must be at minimum odds of 1.70 or 7/10 for single wagers, and a minimum of 2.20 or 12/10 on multiple bets.
