Game Layout & Symbols

Cowboys Gold is a game that has an extremely low win rate, so you’d be advised to use Autoplay for playing it because most of your spins will be non-winning ones. The game is played on a 5×3 board with only 10 paylines, which is always an indicator of a high-variance game.

There are eight normal symbols in the pay table, seven Cowboys, a Bonus symbol and a Wild. Four of the normal symbols are the low-win card symbols, and they pay 2.50x or 5x for five-of-a-kind. The four high-win symbols are much better, with pays from 20x to 75x.

The Cowboy symbols connect and form winning combinations with each other, so it can be considered one symbol with seven faces. At every spin, the Cowboy symbols are assigned a random total bet multiplier, from 1x to 100x total bet.

Wild & Scatter Symbols

To collect the prizes from the Cowboy symbols, you need to land a Renegade symbol on reel 5. Otherwise, they will just go to waste. The Renegade symbol also substitutes for the Bonus symbol that triggers the free spins.

The Bonus symbol is the Scatter, and it appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only. If you land all three of them, you’ll trigger the free spins feature. The Wild appears on all reels and, just like the Scatter, it’s a non-paying symbol.
